Thank you Oregon NORML and NORML People Race for the Cure Team

Thank you Anna Diaz and the wonderful folks at Oregon NORML for organizing the 2010 NORML People Race for the Cure team!

I had a wonderful race even though at times it was harder than I expected. Surrounded by my wonderful NORML friends I had the courage to push through my tears and complete my first race to mark my first year of surviving breast cancer. I truly wouldn’t have participated in this event without all your support.

Thank you Oregon NORML – you ROCK - let hear it for better living beyond cancer with Cannabis!

Team NORML People

As a team, we are going to do the untimed one-mile walk. It starts at 8:00am, and it has the least expensive registration fee.

For the same fee, you can Sleep in for the Cure, too. And, if you include an extra $15 for the team t-shirt, I'll make sure you get one of those, too.

This is Oregon NORML's first year to have a team in the race, and we need ten members who will raise $100 each to make our team goal of $1000 for breast cancer research. Please come out and help us fly our colors and proudly support the Race for the Cure.
